Spring has Sprung

Today I decided it would be fun to go out and find signs of spring and photograph it. Right now I think no matter where you are you can find signs of spring all around from the new leaf buds to baby animals on farms and in the wild. The spring time is a great time to get out and take photos. Unfortunately I did not find any baby animals on today's excursion but found plenty of other signs. As the days get warmer and longer it makes the opportunities to get outside with your camera get better and the things you find to photograph get better. Just remember when you are out there to be safe. Never get too close to the wildlife. There is nothing more dangerous than a mother anything protecting its babies. Also if you find a nest don't touch it. If you do there is a great chance it will be abandoned and the eggs will not have a chance to hatch. Like they say in Yellowstone National Park you should stay at least 25 yards from the animals and if you are lucky enough to find bears or wolves stay at least 100 yards away. I would recommend possibly more. Another good tip if you are going out in the woods to photograph, as the bears are out moving around is to carry bear spray and KNOW how to use it. With these safety tips in mind everyone can make it back to read more of this blog and enjoy more pictures and tips. I am including with these pictures the settings of my camera with each one. So go out have fun get those pictures and be safe.

This is at the Gallatin river again just down stream of 4-Corners. If you have a chance to go through Bozeman if you don't live here, you will travel along this river going south to Yellowstone National Park. This is a very pretty drive and many opportunities to take some great pictures along the way. Hopefully I will get some to put up as the summer goes on.
